Electricity

I rewired a lamp today. I routed electrons through a dimmer, up into a bulb and back to the plug in the wall. The wonder of this technology is easily forgotten unless you are dealing with it directly. Pushing the ON button of a computer just doesn't bring the same awareness of how brilliant the developers of electrical devices really were and still are. Part of my practice is trying to stay in touch with how indebted I am to the brilliant human minds who have made my life one of the easiest on the planet.
