I know many who will dance on her grave. This may not be a Buddhist sentiment but I have great sympathy for it. She destroyed much and replaced it with less.

Should forgiveness come just because the flesh is weak?
Well, dear m, forgiveness is a good practice in general. however, forgetfulness is not. To be truly mindful in practice, it is important to remember and access all knowledge and awareness at one's disposal simultaneously at will. My post was not meant as a judgment on Thatcher or condemnation of her. It was a question raised by her public grieving over the death of the dictator, murderer and unrepentant Fascist, Pinochet.
ReplyDeleteFor La Thatcher, I think she will suffer the fate of many elderly women and outlive her peers.
ReplyDeleteThere will be token respect paid at her funeral by those cynical enough to hope to gain advantage by it but it seems unlikely that there will be any left who remember her in power at a time when they also pushed the wheel.
Politics is a poor substitute for a valuable life.
