SO, DON'T HAVE CHILDREN.

I am so sick of White academics and social-justice phonies who make a living talking about how evil White privilege is. And how all White people need to somehow repent for this privilege. And how simply accepting that the world is genetically unfair and moving on with that, even ethically, without whining about White Guilt is somehow "supremacist".  Really? Now that is a great way to teach people of color to be resentful, lacking in self confidence and self-justified in their hatred of another race. 

I won't even address this insulting bullshit from my personal perspective as a retired RN who has seen and wiped more adult asses of color than most people of color ever will in their lifetimes. I won't even address this from my personal perspective as a gay man, who has had to listen to Leaders of Color tell me that I am less than them because they were born with color and I chose to be gay. 

I will address this issue (again) from the position of a person born to a hard-working Eastern European immigrant family merged with a dirt-poor Irish-American family of several American-born generations. My White privilege consisted of having parents with high school educations who worked like dogs to stay out of poverty. Their Whiteness was secondary to their determination and sacrifice for us on an economic level. They worked service jobs. They worked around the clock. They volunteered for overtime whenever they could get it. And, my Eastern European immigrant grandparents worked alongside Black people, got the same pay and worked in the same lousy conditions.

If you are a privileged young White person with guilt about being who you are, just shut up and do not have White children. Adopt children of color.  Raise them with love. Teach them that the way to eliminate privilege is to stop perpetuating it in real concrete terms. Teach them that scolding other people about something that you can take for granted is simply idiotic. Teach them that noticing color is fine, but acting differently toward people just because of their color is neither ethical nor intelligent. Don't have children at all and get rich. Then spend your working life raising the economic power of Black, Latino, American Indian children.
