UNDER THE ROCK
The current scandal over Congressional discovery of domestic espionage on American citizens by our own Justice Department is perhaps the most revealing aspect of the Red-Scare (Russo-phobic) tactics being used by Democrats against Donald Trump. The irony is impressive. President Putin's own Soviet career was rooted in the espionage-crazed East German occupation of The Cold War. Now, we see American governmental agencies were acting like the Stasi under President Obama. This is a violation of U.S. law's most fundamental guiding precepts.
What would cause a Democrat administration to allow such a violation? Hunger for continued control over a corrupt government perhaps? Fear of a bumbling, loud-mouthed maverick who might lift the rock off the slithering corruption of Washington, DC? Perhaps.
The Clinton-Obama legacy, certainly one legacy, failed to gain the insurance of a second Clinton presidency. This has been devastating to Democrats and the hypocritical Liberals who are loyal party supporters. Why? I speculate that the loss of the first female American presidency is not the major reason.
President Barack Obama, an admirable and impressive icon in some ways, failed to unify America. He failed the middle class after the banks robbed the country in 2008. He failed Black Americans in the inner city. He accentuated America's racial problems without resolving them. His Attorney General was a failure. His Secretary of State, using her cabinet position to enhance her upcoming candidacy and to bolster the influence of her own foundation, wreaked havoc in the Middle East and North Africa. She aligned herself with Saudi Arabia and emboldened the Whahhabist interference in secular Muslim states. For one thing, this fueled the migrant crisis now destabilizing Europe.
The people who run our government for major corporations are failing the citizens miserably. Donald Trump may not fix any of it, but he is loud and unfiltered in ways which threaten the shadow government. And this causes the slithering reptiles who churn the mud under the rock which is Washington to hiss when the sunlight of exposure threatens their security in their corruption. Those crisp white shirts and expensive suits under cosmetically pampered faces are facades which hide the sociopathy underneath.
Watching national politics in the U.S. today isn't like watching a Spaghetti Western. Spaghetti Westerns had good guys.
