SOCIAL DEMOCRACY, NOT SOCIAL JUSTICE.

The conflation of social justice activism with social democracy in the minds of some is unfortunate. The two can actually be in stark conflict. Sweden is a great example. It is descending into a stressed and anarchic atmosphere from the height of social prosperity and cultural cohesion, based in smart social democracy. Why? In part due to the complicity with social justice ideologies which have infected Europe through its alliance with Bilderberg and other elite internationalist groups with overlap at the annual Davos conference. Human engineering by bankers.
The elite form of social justice is ostensibly based in faux guilt over the vast fortunes gained from colonial empire. I say "faux" because the real rationale appears to be based in fear that other actors, like China, Russia or an Islamic bloc, may mobilize formerly colonized developing nations into wars against developed nations. This would, of course, potentially decimate the fortunes and lives of the elite, as well as the commoners. I believe the motivation for private space research among the super wealthy is fear of this eventuality. The off-world escape hatch may be the only safe refuge from a shrunken planet with information technology in the wrong hands.
Never underestimate grudges in the long run of human history. Grudges have been exploited by leaders and their advisers throughout recorded history. Human beings have not progressed beyond this. The current political atmosphere in the U.S. is a clear example.
A basic rule of demonstrated human behavior: Morality (justice, equality) cannot be instituted from the top down. If it could be, empire, monarchy, totalitarianism, Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and/or Buddhism would have instituted peaceful and orderly heaven on Earth millennia ago.
Capitalism has demonstrated worth to the greater swath of humanity, as compared to Communism or National Socialism (Nazism) in the modern era. Chinese Communism is slowly evolving into a more democratic system. Not by ballot, but by reading the pulse of its huge and potentially explosive population with technology. Like Russia, it is already taking on the appearance of an oligarchy with over 3 million millionaires, second in number to the U.S. at 7+ million.
Modern China and Russia are culturally more homogeneous than the U.S or European Union. Like an earlier Sweden, these populations of integrated national identity can get work done that heterogeneous and self-segregating populations cannot. This was perhaps the only upside of Communism and National Socialism. They raised stagnant populations from inefficient agrarianism or post-war destitution, respectively, to modernity by strictly enforcing national identity over personal identity.
China, Russia and Islamic nations continue to enforce cohesive group identity over the individual. The West is foundering with internal social conflict over that issue. Attempts to return to national unity and strength of national purpose to benefit all are labelled "fascist" by social justice activists and politicians on The Left. Globalist factions in The West have swayed the United Nations to undermine nationalism wherever it appears in The West. Its support of NGO's which have colluded with Mediterranean human traffickers against European nations is evidence.
There is absolutely nothing democratic about the current social justice movement, which has been commandeered by Marxists and anarchists. It stands in staunch opposition to social democracy by advocating the abolition of Constitutional borders and citizenship. Citizenship in a social democracy is a crucial component of Constitutional governance. Citizens are the voters and financiers of a functional democracy. Functional social democracies reflect the legitimate population they govern by representation. Until the entire planet is democratically governed, national social democracy is the only alternative to capitalist oligarchy or ideological totalitarianism.
Social justice, as it is represented by the current movement by that name, is a monolithic ideology which is enforced from within by brutal intellectual conformity maintained with Maoist methods of shaming, shunning, and silencing under threat of mob violence. This is neither "social" in the normal use of the term nor democratic. The seething undercurrent of violent retribution is the methodology of ISIS and other terrorist movements, seeking to enforce some misguided sense of grudge-based justice by retribution.
The undermining of functional social democracy in The West by capitalist interests is horribly misguided. Breaking down national borders for the sake of trade and profit by flooding functional nations with destabilizing populations of non-citizens is a short-sighted approach. It is the financial equivalent to the petrochemical binge which is deteriorating our human ecology. In combination, these two processes may eventually bring down the much touted advances against human poverty. If that happens, there may indeed be a leveling of the human condition which will far surpass any modern notion of social justice.
