CUMBER-MAGIC.

Benedict Cumberbatch is an amazing actor. His talent for mimicry applied to excellent writing with his unique ability to clearly speak punctuated English is awe-inspiring. He is a model dramatist of his generation. The simple fact that someone with the name Benedict Cumberbatch has become world famous probably says all that needs to be said. 

I watched Cumberbatch's Brexit, an HBO Films production, last evening. His Dominic Cummings portrayal did more to explain the hows and wherefores of Brexit than the many hours I have watched concerning it on Sky News. He and those who produced/wrote this film have added a new dimension to understanding Brexit from outside the UK. 

That is the thing about Cumberbatch. Most actors bring scripts to life, if they are doing their jobs correctly. Cumberbatch infuses writing with an energy and commitment to craft in every scene. That is not simply acting. That is art.
