GOSH DARN YOU, COULROPHOBES!

Perhaps the lack of maturity on social media platforms is attributable to the youthful inexperience of the demographic who are most enthusiastic users. Perhaps. The most remarkable example is the raging reaction on The Left to Honkler, a meme based on the infamous green Pepe.

It may strike the more worldly that overreacting to a cartoon of a green frog-like character wearing a rainbow wig and a red clown nose is symptomatic of a needed medication adjustment. But these reactions are rather plentiful and predictable. Most striking about these overreactions is their sources: The same trigger-happy Leftists who readily call anyone they disagree with "Hitler". Perhaps they have contracted dogmatic sensitivity from their proclaimed association with jihadists.

The lack of humor on The Left is symptomatic of its age distribution most likely. Those who are adequately educated and employed are not generally available for the occasional riot or hijacking of a public road intersection for fun. Observation of the few gray-haired among Leftist demonstrators will be a lesson on how not to behave over the age of fifty.

Honkler is a mirror. Like most effective satire, it strikes at those who see their image reflected. Add the common clown phobia (coulrophobia, diagnostically speaking) and bang: You have a deep panic routed in identity meltdown. The victim may well smear clown make-up over the face, get plastered and post the whole thing on YouTube. Nothing this artistic, of course.

Protecting children from any rough group play, satire, criticism or discipline has yielded two generations of whiny wimps in much of the U.S.. Their lack of humor is a symptom of their fostered narcissism. It can approach the lower scale of autism in some cases. Humorless drudges.

These young people are the targets of many so-called non-profits who promote fear and fringe Leftist ideology on line for administrative profit: SPLC, Right Wing Watch, ACLU, Media Matters, CAIR, HRC, etc..The eventual progression from Woke to Awake will occur as these young reactionaries reach maturity with world experience. In the meantime, they may be enticed to support all kinds of counterproductive social and political causes.
