COMMON SENSE
Thomas Paine's Common Sense is a revolutionary pamphlet published in January, 1776. Paine was a new immigrant to the British Colonies in 1774. His short time in the colonies allowed him a fresh vision of the dynamics of colonial rule and dissention. His pamphlet was published six years after The Boston Massacre and three years after the Boston Tea Party, two pivotal events in British Colonial history in North America.
There are some thematic similarities between today's political climate in the USA and the climate in the American Colonies in Paine's time. Many prosperous urban colonists were loathe to support any activity that would threaten their economic well being. These Tories lived well under British rule, as today's corporate globalists do in The New World Order, an elitist globalist reset against national sovereignty and commoners' equity.
The Tory influence in the British Colonies in America sought to neutralize revolutionary anger over the exploitation of colonial commoners by The Crown and Parliament. In today's USA, those who align themselves with The New World Order, the Democrat leadership, have applied a different manipulation of commoners to achieve the same goal of fending off substantive revolution by commoners with capitalist aspirations. The Democrat leadership. for example, has legitimized domestic terrorism, as seen in the 2020 riots and arson, to silence intelligent resistance to The New World Order.
Both groups, 18th century Tories and today's Democrats, have acted to maintain power over commoners in society who outnumber them and have some equity. The amassed equity of those commoners has always been the target of these predatory megalomaniacs. The ruse they propagate is meant to cast themselves as lovers of the people while, in fact, they are aspiring aristocrats with dreams of living in luxury on the backs of the economically enslaved common people.
Abraham Lincoln's faith in commoners' sense was expressed in his 1858 campaign against Douglas:
Judge Douglas cannot fool the people:
you may fool people for a time;
you can fool a part of the people all the time;
but you can’t fool all the people all the time.
Today's commoners' awakening against the Woke madness of the previous two years in the USA supports Lincoln's premise. Corporate power toppled the US Presidency of Donald Trump, who represented the wakening rage of those who were duped into the previous eight years of the Obama Presidency, a lackluster march to more and more globalism and a surrender of US sovereignty to The New World Order, led by oligarchs/aristocrats.
Obama ran for POTUS with a promise of positive change for the commoners in America. That promise of change met with enthusiasm among those disenchanted with the Bush administration's war-happy behavior. And change their lot he did. For the worse. Corporate welfare after the 2008 Recession. Wage stagnation for the common people. Resurrected race war. Sacrificing US interests to European, Middle East and Chinese interests. Continued waging of the corrupt wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Enabling ISIS in Syria. And his self-aggrandizing exploitation of his role as a international racialist icon.
The commoners' sublimated dissatisfaction with the bad national governance in the US from 2000-2016 broke through during the 2016 Presidential campaign. Donald Trump, a brash reality-TV outsider, was able to channel that dissatisfaction. His use of social media and advertising media won him a sound victory over Hilary Clinton, a representative of the DC establishment and the Obama regime.
Donald Trump is nobody's superhero. He is his supporters' anti-hero. He is the rich guy with common sense and anti-aristocratic candor. He is loved for being a political bad boy, who dishes the dirt on career politicians and their manipulators. He is the hard-headed American businessman who defies the globalist New World Order. His great flaw was his deference to the medical establishment. He was blind-sided by Fauci and his associates. I doubt Trump was aware of Fauci's deep alliance with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
By listening to the corrupt medical clergy in DC, Trump abandoned his commoner base. He also destroyed the great progress he was making against the globalist threat to US national sovereignty. Those who fear him have raised the specter of January 6th, 2021, to scare off his supporters. In reality, they fear Trump because he speaks to the hearts of those who value American culture and American values of personal independence and freedom of thought. Those very aspects of America are what they aim to erase in favor of anti-American globalism, as directed largely by the CCP and some wealthy elitists in Europe.
Biden has failed as the figurehead of reconciliation between Trump's supporters and the anarchic splinter groups left behind by the Obama years. Biden has sided openly with racialists and anarchists. He has opened the Southern Border to millions of undocumented migrants. He has failed to stem the tide of anti-law-and-order ideologies and practices in his politic al party. He sings along with the Democrat-controlled Congress as they exploit Trump-hatred to dismantle criminal justice systems and national unity.
There is no common sense in DC today. There is loud bickering between the corrupt for control. The few members of Congress who have spoken plainly with common sense have been given unfair derogatory labels by a media establishment which supports The New World Order, due in part to the international ownership of parent media mega-corporations. Those mega-corporations are influenced by CCP money.
The sense of commoners may well prevail before all is lost to the new globalist aristocracy, an upper class with roots in wealth and technology instead of a particular history, morality or culture. The common people share the highways, malls and suburban streets. They rent apartments in cities where they can no longer afford to own property. They ride mass transit in big cities. They are indeed already a melting pot of races, ethnicities and other identities. Once they rebel against the isolation imposed by Washington's corrupt medical clergy, they will begin to talk to each other again. They will restore the social fabric of American communities.
Racialism, political correctness and disease panic are tools of shame and fear. Common people do not truly believe in their importance, though they might well bow temporarily to their fanatical proponents for self-preservation. Rational human beings can take only so much oppression of that sort. The failures of The British Empire, The Third Reich and the USSR are recent historic evidence. Political power is losing its grip on the masses of The Earth. In part, this is due to overpopulation, combined with accessible communication technology.
The New World Order, or Great Reset, is an attempt by those with wealth and power to remain above the common people by dividing and conquering them with anarchy and confused identity. Massive human populations are as much as threat to as they are a source of income for these predatory oligarchs. They look to the success of Chinese Communism to exploit, oppress and control overpopulating masses of humanity. Much of the wealth of the global ruling class is tied to that economic success of the CCP.
I have faith in the common sense of the American people. I know them to be open and well-meaning overall. In my experience, those who refuse to submit to racial or ethnic or religious barriers are most American in their attitude. Despite the struggles I have seen and participated in over my half century of adulthood as an American, I still believe we are a nation of human beings who respond to what is just and sensible for the greater good. That is American common sense.
