GLOBAL REGRESSION

The net result of the world's overreaction to COVID is a deep psychological regression, most notable in the spoiled young adults of The West. One glaring example is Seattle's repeal of a helmet rule for cyclists in that city on the grounds that it was a racist policy. Woke cyclists in that city of Antifa riots and encampments of insane street people seem to have convinced themselves that wearing a brain-protecting helmet in city traffic was prejudicial to people of color. 

As a registered nurse (since 1976), I would not recommend political correctness as a protection against life-altering brain injury.  I admit, choosing Woke over being civilized and healthy may indicate that the helmet-free Seattlite may have little brain function to lose in a bike accident. 

The global political mishandling of a pandemic that was possibly started by a mishandled bioweapon has been a blow to human civilization and actual human progress. That political failure of most major world governments has destabilized global trade and even relatively peaceful global times. The latter is quite evident in the current Putin-inspired threat to Ukraine and Europe.

At the pinnacle of political control across the globe, dictatorial tendencies were enabled in those who were prone to ignore the will of the governed. Lockdowns, mask mandates, closing borders to legal travelers, vaccine mandates ... these were unimaginable just several years ago. The politicization of the Western medical establishment is more life-threatening than any virus. Doctors are not a democratic lot, generally speaking. They are used to ordering, not discussing. 

Politicians in democratic republics, like the USA, have no credential requirements. They do not have to have post-graduate education, or even a high school education. A pretty face and a big mouth can carry a politician a long way in American government. And social media has enabled some to do just that. What better to justify their undeserved place in governance than to suggest that tradition, law and heritage be dismantled? 

Those who have persisted in life-as-usual throughout the pandemic's mishandling by governments are understandably fed up. They have experienced the falseness of governmental intrusion upon the vast majority of unthreatened lives. The truck convoy to Ottawa, Canada, and similar demonstrations are sensible reactions to government intrusion into personal choice and freedom. But large portions of Western society have been cowed successfully by government propaganda, aimed at rationalizing the dictatorial behavior of government officials.

Many politicians in The West will point an accusatory finger at Vladimir Putin, an obvious megalomaniac and dictator. They may well make vacuous speeches against Communist China's dictatorial political structure. But, in fact, they have all been complicit. They have all imposed more and more intrusions on the rights of the governed by using fear of disease as a tool. 

The violent eruptions in the USA during the summer of 2020 were simply fires waiting to be set after the oppressive nature of government lockdowns and fear-mongering. The fiscally irresponsible and possibly outright fraudulent Black Lives Matter cabal simply lit the match. They mobilized a generation of immature dupes who had been fed perverted views of documented American history by cynical teachers, whose careers were based on weaving all chronological narratives into an overarching White-supremist conspiracy.

The reality of the USA prior to the pandemic was idyllic compared to its aftermath. The insane hatred of President Trump, pumped up by anarchy-supporting crooks, like Soros and the Clintons, was not based in any on-the-ground American reality. It was media-supported propaganda to inspire rather affluent and generally inclusive Americans to buy a false narrative of prejudice, oppression and poverty. And it worked. A defensive Trump knelt to a medical establishment, dominated by the corrupt and deceptive Fauci, a man who was already notorious among the HIV-AIDS survivor community for his failures in dealing with that pandemic. 

The global regression after the political mishandling of COVID is ultimately the responsibility of the bloated bureaucratic global medical establishment, funded by the people, a large portion of which are American taxpayers. That medical establishment is corrupted by its alliance with pharmaceutical corporations, which are international and free of any loyalty to any tax-paying population. But those tax-paying populations pay for much of their research (and recent vaccines), which they then use to make huge profits for private shareholders among the super-wealthy 1%. 

The backsliding of human progress due to COVID will effect the 99% much more than it will effect the 1% who profited from it. Crime, unsupportable illegal migration, deteriorating public education, diminished access to medical services ... these always impact those who live at ground level. Those who fly across borders in private jets to their multiple properties in multiple nations are immune. They are the reconstituted global aristocracy. Like all previous aristocracies, they live parasitically off the misery and labor of the many. Their false support of anarchy in the name of equality is simply another form of divide-and conquer.
