IGNORING CORRUPTION IS CORRUPTION.

The current refusal of many Liberals and Leftists to acknowledge the corruption of Joe Biden is pathologic. The Speaker of the House recently stated that Joe Biden is the perfect POTUS for our time. At the same time, Left-leaning media outlets have finally acknowledged that Biden's son was wheeling and dealing, using the political provenance of his father, then VP of the USA under Saint Obama. POTUS Biden is suspected of taking a 10% commission from Chinese Communist and Putin oligarch payments to his son. 

Our Southern Border has been given over to Mexican drug cartels, profiting greatly from human and narcotic trafficking. The narcotic trafficking (fentanyl) just happens to be sourced in Communist China. The Ukrainian borders have been invaded by Putin. What a coincidence! Two major nations known to have financed Biden's son have chosen to make aggressive moves against The West. 

The Left and Liberals in the USA surrendered to rioting and burning mobs in the name of 'social justice'. Decriminalizing criminals has become a bizarre form of compensation for some mythical widespread racism in 2022 America. The same America in which a Black woman is sure to be installed on the bench of the US Supreme Court, the third Black justice since 1967. The same America which elected a biracial POTUS twice, in 2008 and 2012.

The Democrat party has allowed itself to be corrupted from within by racialist exploiters. These unscrupulous racketeers (e.g., BLM organizers) and politicians (e.g., The Squad) have eroded the values and credibility of Democrats in Congress and in The White House. They have emboldened the growing class of Left and Right career politicians in Washington. Those politicians do not respect an electorate which sways with the winds of cheesy public relations campaigns.

Washington, DC is no longer a shrine to democracy. It has become a self-gratifying bureaucracy, a shrine to dealing and corruption for the sake of the stakeholders who manage to get established there. Hollow ideology is the hallmark of corrupt governments which seek to control populations rather than represent them. The Green New Deal, The Iran Deal, wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, alliances with villains across the planet ... these do not represent the will of the American people. Hollow ideologies, contrived by the corrupt and self-serving.

If the American population yields to these fraudsters by continuing to vote for them, they too will be corrupted and will facilitate their own ruination. If the American population accepts government pay-outs in exchange for sacrificing their own ideals to these corrupted ideologues, they will construct their own mental and social prisons. They will sacrifice their power as the electorate. They will enable government oppression. 

The current regime in Washington is the worst I have seen in my 51 adult years. That is saying something. I lived through the insanely unnecessary and damaging Vietnam War Era. I lived through the assassinations of the Kennedys and Martin Luther King. I lived through periods of many racialist riots which did nothing for Black Americans. I lived through the government's attempts to thwart Gay Liberation, and I lived through the government's attempt to ignore AIDS. I have lived through government-caused inflation and recession, a choppy journey for a single lower-middle-class person like me. 

Joe Biden and the majority-Democrat Congress of today are the culmination of a great evil, which has been growing faster in Washington since the Clinton administration. It is the corrupt synthesis of elitism and corporate power, enabled by the propagandist tools of social media and a corrupt press. These swine haughtily condemn "populism" in a democracy. How dare they! By "populism" they refer to the people's Constitutional rights to protest and rebel against unrepresentative government, while they condone the unconstitutional behavior of Leftist mobs who serve their purpose to induce fear and division. 

As a gay man of my age and a pacifist by nature, I have no rational reason to be patriotic. However, I have every reason to be supportive of Constitutional rule by the people, not by elitist career politicians. The Constitutional process has brought me a semblance of civic respect and validation in my lifetime. But I see the unity and pride of my own homosexual sub-population in America falling prey to the corrupt Washington ideologues who use the divisiveness of transgenderism to confound us as a group, just as they tried to ignore the decimation of the homosexual male population by HIV.

Well, I'm not buying into it. I have committed myself to truthfulness since I came out of the closet in 1970. Corruption and truth cannot coexist in the heart and mind of a decent human being. I will not support the Democrat attempt to corrupt our government irrevocably. I will not support the Republican tendency toward religiosity and cronyism. It is my responsibility to be an independent thinker and informed citizen under these threats to America. If the American public refuses to be bought off by the bureaucrats,  America may once again regain its national pride. If not, we will descend into a Banana Republic, where the common people live subsistence lives while the rich live in Putinesque luxury.
